Transforming Material Recovery

PROJECT DETAILS

In partnership with Wren Ltd and Tecnoidea Impianti S.r.l. – Bruce has commissioned a new state-of-the-art waste recycling wash plant for Aggreg8 Solutions.

The Aggreg8 Wash Plant provides a solution for managing construction, demolition, and excavation (C,D&E) waste. Embedding a circular economy within its operations by washing and repurposing materials for reuse in local infrastructure projects.

Installed within a live operating environment, the plant was delivered through close collaboration between Bruce and Aggreg8, allowing a fast and seamless installation process.

The complete Wash Plant solution, including Wastewater Treatment, ensures that the majority of the processed water is treated and returned to the plant, significantly reducing the freshwater top-up requirement, whilst minimising their environmental impact.

Key features of the Wash Plant include excellent access & maintenance platforms, along with an elevated control room that enhances operator visibility across the plant and site operations. The plant delivers increased fines recovery through a primary & secondary cyclone solution, while its modular design enables rapid installation and efficient commissioning.

Application: Construction, Demolition, and Excavation (C,&DE) Waste Recycling

Equipment: BWR-TL, BWS-120 TP, Wastewater Treatment

Tonnage: 100 TPH

Output: 3 Aggregates & 2 Sand

WASHING SOLUTION

The BWR-TL & BWS-120 purchased by Aggreg8 is processing sub-40mm construction and demolition waste material. The raw material is conveyed into the Bruce Modular Wash Plant using a Lattice Infeed Conveyor with walkway access along the complete length of the conveyor. The material is pre-screened first with a double deck DV7 Washing Screen, screening out 0-4mm & feeding a 4/40mm to the BWTL-6 Twin Shaft Logwasher. After the scrubbing, trash removal, and rinsing process, clean 10mm, 20mm, 40mm aggregate products and two sand products, 0-2mm, 0-4mm, are produced, suitable for sale in the construction industry.

As Bruce Engineering is a certified Hardox® Wearparts Centre, the build quality of the Wash Plant is robust and market-leading, ensuring longevity, with other branded components used throughout.
