Circular Economy

PROJECT DETAILS

The MYMAT project provides a solution for the treatment of “Grab-away” waste plus excavated soils from the Paris region. This project allowed MYMAT to realise the establishment of a circular economy by washing and repurposing the material for use in local concrete plants.

Working within a live environment, the plant installation involved a team from our French dealer rep SAS YCARE and Bruce Technicians which enabled a quick and efficient installation period.

The complete Wash Plant solution including Wastewater Treatment ensures that the majority of the processed water is returned to the plant, reducing the overall freshwater top-up requirement.

Key features of the Wash Plant include excellent access & maintenance platforms, increased fines recovery with the primary / secondary cyclone solution and the modular concept of the equipment enabling fast installation and commissioning.

Application: Aggregate Recycling

Equipment: BWR-TL & BWS-120 TW

Tonnage: 100 TPH

Output: 4 Aggregates & 2 Sand

WASHING SOLUTION

The BWR-TL & BWS-120 purchased by MYMAT is processing sub-40mm grab-away material, a by-product of its groundwork services. The raw material is conveyed into the Bruce Modular Wash Plant using a Lattice Infeed Conveyor with walkway access along the complete length of the conveyor. The material is first washed and pre-screened removing the 40mm+ aggregate before being fed into the BWTL-6 Twin Shaft Logwasher. After the scrubbing, trash removal, and rinsing process, clean 4-10mm, 10-20mm, 20-40mm aggregate products and two sand products, 0-1mm, 0-4mm are outputted, suitable for sale in the construction industry.

As Bruce Engineering is a certified Hardox® Wearparts Centre, the build quality of the BWR is robust and market-leading, ensuring longevity, with other branded components used throughout.

CUSTOMER PERSPECTIVE

It is with a great enthusiasm that Béton Bâtir opens its third concrete plant in Île-de-France on the Mymat site – in partnership with Bruce Engineering and their French Representative SAS YCARE. This new production unit is the culmination of several years of partnership between the Médinger company and Béton Bâtir Sud Ile-de-France. From January 2020, under the leadership of Medinger representatives, the broad outlines of this partnership have emerged. We were quickly won over by this innovative project, which gives a clear vision of the materials of tomorrow. The future of concrete plants will necessarily involve the valorization of materials from earthworks and deconstruction.
