General Operative

Here at Bruce Engineering you will enjoy a role that is not tied down to one task. Our successful candidate gets to enjoy a variety of engineering tasks each week that are essential in keeping a busy workshop functioning.

Any experience the following fields would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate!

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a team within our production department
• Support the general operations of the workshop, directed by the shop floor supervisor
• Have the practical skills for using hand and machine tools
• Operating Saws / Drills
• Prepping and cleaning parts before the priming process
• Reading and understanding of engineering drawings
• Good communication skills
• Complying with all current and any new Health and Safety regulations

Schedule:

• Mon – Thurs 7:30am – 5pm
• Fri 7:45am – 1:00pm
• Overtime
