Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding in-house assemblies, carrying out pre-fabrication duties, and ensuring high-quality production.

This role requires the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work independently, and uphold safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld all in-house assemblies
• Perform pre-fabrication duties using the saw and drills
• Read and understand engineering drawings
• Produce high-quality welding and fabrication work

Essential Criteria

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in welding/fabrication (MIG welding)
• Ability to apply welds to plate ranging from 3mm to 30mm
• Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering drawings
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently
• Good time management and teamwork skills
• Effective communication skills
• Compliance with all health and safety standards

Desirable

• NVQ Level 2 Welding qualification
• Engineering qualifications
• Industry knowledge (washing/screening)

Schedule

• Mon – Thurs 7:30am to 5pm
• Fri 7:45am to 1:00pm
• Overtime
